The 1992 Camaro came with a few different engine options:
3.1L V6 engine: This engine produced 140 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. It was paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 4-speed automatic transmission.
5.0L V8 engine: This engine produced 170 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. It was paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 4-speed automatic transmission.
5.7L V8 engine: This engine, also known as the LT1, produced 230 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. It was paired with a 6-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The 1992 Camaro also had the option of a B4C Police Package, which included the LT1 engine, heavy-duty suspension, and other performance upgrades.
